- Use of discussion pods are for collaborative discussions, self-study, and group study.
- The use of space is by RESERVATION.
- Students can stay at the pod for a maximum of 4 hours a day.
- Fill out the form completely (i.e. full name with student number with members if applicable); if not the request will be voided.
- One discussion pod unit consists of 2 sets; one set must be used by 3-4 students.
- Ask Librarian in charge for assistance in using the pod, scan the QR Code of Guidelines in using the pod.
- Arrive on time and go to the Internet counter at least 5 minutes before the schedule. All members must be present.
- Wait for an email confirmation from LibCal that your reservation has been APPROVED.
- Before using the pods, surrender one (1) Mapua ID to the staff at the counter and ensure that the members are already in the Library.
- Receive the "RESERVED" signage and input it on the acrylic stand.
- Proceed to the Discussion Pod after consulting the Librarian and use the materials with care.
- Eating, drinking, littering and gaming are not allowed while using the pods.
- When discussing or studying, keep the volume at a non-distracting level.
- Set your phones and gadgets in silent mode.
- Wear headphones at a low volume.
- Never leave the pods unattended.
- Use the table and other accessories (I.E. ADAPTERS, LAMP) with care.
- After using the pods, clean and arrange the table and chairs.
- After using the pod, return the "RESERVED” signage to the assigned Librarian; to ensure that the discussion pod is no longer occupied, and ready for the next user.
- Return the signage to the counter, as a sign that the pod is no longer in use.
- Users, including members, will be liable to any damage that will incur in the discussion pods.
- Failure to follow the aforementioned shall result in suspension of use of any discussion pods within the term. These apply to all the members of the group.
